A Gentle Reminder from MWAF

Everyone’s time is valuable—including mine.

Running Meals With A Friend is more than a full-time commitment. It’s a mission built on love, connection, and care—but also one that requires energy, structure, and boundaries.

If someone would like my time, I kindly ask that they consider becoming a client. MWAF is a service designed to support those who genuinely benefit from what we offer—shared meals, meaningful conversation, and compassionate connection. This is not a free-for-all or a casual meetup group. It’s a professional and personal effort to uplift others through intentional, heart-led action.

It hurts when people question our pricing or motives, especially when it feels tied to assumptions about my disability. My time is no less valuable because I live with a disability. In fact, it’s that lived experience that fuels this mission and gives it meaning.

At MWAF, we take our role seriously. Every volunteer is vetted with care to ensure they’re a safe, genuine fit for the people we serve. We do not support opportunism. We support connection.

Thank you to those who understand the heart—and hard work—behind this.

With appreciation,

Chad Francour

✨ I AM THRILLED to share some exciting news! ✨

I’ve been invited to do the honorary puck drop for the Shamrocks' exhibition home game on October 25th — what an incredible opportunity to represent Meals With A Friend (MWAF) and our mission!

We recently shared our story with a doctor, physical therapist, and nurse practitioner at Bellin in Green Bay, who see firsthand the impact of what we’re doing to fight the silent epidemic of loneliness and isolation. Their support reinforces how vital this work is.

❤️ Want to support the mission? Check out our new MWAF merch store! We’ve got three awesome T-shirt designs, coffee mugs/tumblers, and hats — and 100% of the proceeds go toward helping us grow and make a difference.

👉 Visit the merch store, grab some gear, and join us in spreading connection and kindness!

Let’s keep moving this mission forward, together. 💪

📰 Big News!
I’m honored to be featured by WFRV Local 5 for turning my journey as a traumatic brain injury survivor into a mission of hope and human connection through Meals With A Friend.

Every meal shared, every conversation had, is one more step toward fighting the silent epidemic of loneliness, and none of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers and community support.

💛 Thank you for helping turn pain into purpose. Let’s keep building something beautiful together.
